Summertime is nearly over but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy a nice summer cocktail (or my tail which is good during any season). If you want to have a super refreshing drink before summer is over, try a cuCUMber martini! It's easy to make too! Plus I really like to play with a cuCUMber before I make this drink (even though my mom told me not to play with my food. Oopsie! I'm such a bad girl). I will give you a simple version of the drink, and a few options to make it even more wet and juicy, just like my... Well, make a drink and join me to find out ;)

2 oz. Hendricks Gin (Best brand to use for this type of martini)

1/2 oz. Vermouth (or less if you prefer)

1 slice of cucumber for garnish, 2-3 slices cut into cubes or strips (put in bottom of glass).

Add gin and vermouth to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir 20-30 seconds. Strain into chilled glass with cubed cucumbers. Garnish with cucumber slice. It's that simple!

You can also replace the vermouth with some fresh squeezed lime juice (or add a little to the mix) and add a mint leaf or two for added flavor and freshness!

So why not make one and join me for a cuCUMber martini and see what else I can do with a cuCUMber! ;)

Enjoy!
